Daily Horoscope:
“Leo Horoscope for : Sat 30, April 2005
It may be unrealistic to think that you can put in long hours at work while enjoying a serious relationship. At some point, you’ll have to strike a balance. Getting together for an occasional rendezvous is exciting, but sex isn’t enough to sustain a loving bond. If you don’t have a lover, it may be because you are too wrapped up in your career. That’s totally fine, provided you are happy with your current status. “
Several points of note..
Dear world at large,
1. Print and web design are different beasts. If you want exact matches either way, you can’t get it. Especially going from print to web (and making it something that people can move around/interact with
easily).
I can do both print and web (I started off in the print world) but I am not in the mood to compensate for a print designer’s shortcomings on the web.
Don’t make me explain this to you again.
Thank you for your cooperation.
2. Dear Wacom,
thanks for (2 years late) making a driver for my Intuous Graphic pad for XP. Its a bit late in the works, but now I have a working tablet for home and work.
Much obliged, y’all.
3. Dear universe,
Thanks for the challenges lately. I have proven that I don’t lose my mind over little/midsized disasters, but I wouldn’t mind getting about a week’s rest before you start hurling piles of manure over me again.
Your’e a pet, thanks.
4. Dear planets and whatnot.
You promised me lots of travel. Make with the plane fare/opportunity already.
Your pal, fredlet
5. Dear fredlet,
Stop craving the chocolate already. You can’t even blame it on PMS at this point.
Love, your favorite id, ego and superego.
mood matching
This is one of those albums that you listen to ALL THE WAY THROUGH without skipping a bit.
For some reason this album is settling well with my mood. I don’t know why I’m in this mood (Tired perhaps? Sick? Drama queen?) but it fits. Wendy turned me onto this forever ago and I haven’t taken it off the current music pile since.
Listen.

feckin’ leos
iceicebaby’s Blog: “Little beatiful Bliss took me out over the weekend for my bday. She was stressing over my gift, lamenting that she didn’t get me something more girly. Insane. She got me a fabulous gift card and a groovy, gawgeous journal accompanied by a verbal admonishment to ‘write the damned book’ (why do these bossy bitches always think they can tell me what to do? Feckin’ Leos)”
Is that a kilt?
A kilt wearing gnome maker?!? ..and his army of evil gnomes.
Jeebus, the convergence on the web is getting surreal.

I’m so disappointed in Hawk…
so anyway…: “Update on Evil Gnomes
Turns out that Hawk wasn’t building a Gnome Army of the Republic. He was throwing the breakers. Why? So he could change a switch in our master bath. Why? B/c ‘I can.’”
